Tuesday Scrabble cancellation

Tuesday Scrabble will be cancelled until the end of February, 2012

Welcome to the website of the Edmonton SCRABBLE® Club!

We are sanctioned by the North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA), and provide a venue for beginning, intermediate and expert players to compete in both casual and tournament settings.

We meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 PM, on the main floor of the Stanley Milner Library in downtown Edmonton. Our meetings duplicate the conditions found in normal tournament play; we use timers and judge words with the official TWL word list (see Links). We do, however, encourage newcomers to play and discover the joy of "serious" SCRABBLE®!

Let us give you a new perspective of SCRABBLE®!

Tournament and club play may be very different from the game that you're used to playing in your living room. We use timers (each player gets 25 minutes for the entire game), and use the official TWL word list. While playing under these conditions can be difficult at first, we believe that this is the purest form of the game.

Join us for our regular meetings!
